Creating Something New
Taylor and Tanis Gonzaga met in college studying music together. Following their graduation and engagement, Taylor began envisioning an innovative career path in the arts with a mission to create an empowering space for emerging artists and local talent. Taking on the roles of artistic director and executive producer, Taylor and Tanis used their own expertise and resources to bring Opera Cecilia to life.

The Queen Of Heaven And Her Prince Of Peace
At Opera Cecilia, we believe in producing operatic works in new and innovative ways. Keeping this mission in mind, we have collaborated with the Grotto PDX and Mater Dei Radio 88.3 FM to present a concert honoring the savior and his beautiful mother during the advent and Christmas season. This concert is presented live at The Grotto Festival of Lights on November 24th 2023- and will be live on air with Mater Dei on December 8th and 12th, as well as other select dates during the holiday season.
