Creating Something New
Taylor and Tanis Gonzaga met in college studying music together. Following their graduation and engagement, Taylor began envisioning an innovative career path in the arts with a mission to create an empowering space for emerging artists and local talent. Taking on the roles of artistic director and executive producer, Taylor and Tanis used their own expertise and resources to bring Opera Cecilia to life.

Through The Looking Glass: Myths and Legends
At Opera Cecilia, we believe in producing operatic works in new and innovative ways. To finish our second season, we are excited to announce the upcoming premiere of a new digital mythological audio feature, "Through The Looking Glass: Myths and Legends." This collection of two short stories builds off the fantastical universe created by our first audio feature in season one, and features Italian and French opera and art song repertoire infused into an all new fairytale storyline.
